Located just one block up from the renovated West Harbor in Downtown San Pedro, Subterranean Hair is easily accessible and convenient. SERVICES & BOOKING

Subterranean Hair is different. We value hair as a major part of identity. All first time appointments (including if you are seeing a new stylist) must schedule our complimentary consultation prior to securing your service appointment. We take our time to get acquainted with YOU and your hair's specific detailed needs. Your personality, hair history, density/ texture, lifestyle and fashion choices are combined with our professional expertise to ensure you feel your most radiant. During your consultation, the correct procedural timing will be advised for your service visit. We will also recommend your service schedule frequency necessary to achieve or maintain your individual hair desires. Open honesty and communication is part of our ethos, we ask that you be forthright with your hair history and needs, we cannot be liable for any unexpected challenges caused as a result of undivulged information.

When scheduling your appointment, your accurate contact information and a valid credit card number is required to secure your appointment. You will receive a friendly reminder via text message 5 days before your scheduled appointment to confirm your appointment. It is imperative that you confirm your booking when you receive the reminder text. We will call non-confirmed appointments 48 hours prior to the appointment. If a confirmation cannot be attained, the appointment will be forfeited. This allows the appointment time to be fulfilled and our team to maintain their livelihood.

TARDINESS

We understand life happens and can cause unforeseeable discrepancies. Out of respect for our team and guests, please note that an arrival beyond 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment may result in the forfeiture of your appointment and a incur our cancellation fee. Please call if your unable to make your appointment time, we may be able to offer an abbreviated service at our discretion. Please understand that the client following your appointment deserves a prompt artist.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

You must provide 48- hours notice for any cancellations or changes via email or text. Notice provided within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment incurs a charge equal to 50% scheduled service time. No show or notice provided less than 12 hours from your scheduled appointment will result in a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled service. If no-show situations happen more than once, Subterranean Hair discretionarily reserves the right to refuse further bookings.

Our Artists are all skilled professionals that communicate all service details openly. We do not offer refunds for service hours worked. However, if you are not 100% satisfied with your hair design, please let us know within 7 days of your appointment and our team will make the necessary adjustments to make it right. After 7 days, any concerns will be considered based on extenuating variables. This may result in additional service fees (i.e. "I went swimming every day in a chlorinated pool and my color isn't the same")

*We do not offer adjustments of any kind if you amend a Subterranean Hair service with at-home chemicals or another salon's services.

NO CALL / NO SHOW

Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without confirmed contact will result in a charge equal to 100% of the appointment scheduled.
